Job summary

Vision for Education are seeking a motivated and engaging Year 4 Teacher to join a well regarded primary school in the Peterborough area for the Autumn term only beginning in September 2026. This is a full-time maternity cover post, offering a supportive team and opportunities to contribute to pupil growth and development.

You will join a dedicated KS2 team, plan and deliver lessons to a range of abilities, and foster a safe, inclusive classroom culture that supports learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK; ECTs welcome to apply.
• Full enhanced DBS clearance (we can support obtaining this if needed).
• Two referees that we can contact for references to support your recent teaching employment.
• A passion for providing quality education.
• Recent experience teaching within a Primary School.
• Excellent communication, time keeping and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching.
