Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Year 4 Class Teacher for a busy KS2 team in Amesbury, starting October 2026. You will take on full teaching duties, including planning, preparation and marking, within a supportive primary school environment.

The ideal candidate will have KS2 experience, hold QTS, and be confident in managing behaviour while delivering engaging lessons to help every pupil excel.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and be eligible to teach in the UK.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Previous KS2 teaching experience preferred but not essential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Year 4 lessons.
• Marking and assessing pupils' work.
• Maintain positive behaviour and high expectations.
• Support the academic, social and emotional development of all pupils.
• Create a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
