Role Overview
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum requirements for Year 3 across core subjects and foundation areas.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support all learners, including differentiation and targeted interventions.
  • Promote positive behaviour and a respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages motivation and independence.
  • Assess pupil progress regularly and use data to inform teaching and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
  • Participate actively in school initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Person Specification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
