Are you a passionate and nurturing Year 3 Teacher ready to support children as they transition into Key Stage 2? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Aylesbury is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join their team and make a lasting impact at a pivotal point in pupils\' learning journeys. Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the Year 3 curriculum

• Supporting pupils academic, social, and emotional development as they settle into Key Stage 2

• Using assessments to monitor progress, identify gaps, and personalise learning

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment

• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to support pupil progress

• Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a growth mindset in all learners

• Taking part in school life and extra-curricular activities where possible

Who We re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Recent or relevant experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 3

• Strong knowledge of the Year 3 national curriculum and a sound understanding of progression from Key Stage 1

• Excellent classroom management and a nurturing, positive teaching style

• Reflective, flexible, and committed to continuous improvement

• Team player who contributes to the wider school community

• Open to both full-time and part-time applicants
