Year 3 SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary cover starting January 2026 and ongoing

Duties as Year 3 SEND Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide dedicated support for a Year 3 pupil with SEND needs
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning requirements
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and report to the teacher
  • Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Ideal Year 3 SEND Teaching Assistant:
  • Experience working in a primary school setting
  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
