Salary: M1-M6 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the Year 2 curriculum
  • Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated
  • Monitor and track individual student progress and adapt lessons to meet their learning needs
  • Use assessment data to inform future lesson planning and intervention strategies
  • Promote the development of students' literacy and numeracy skills, preparing them for the next stage of their education
  • Work closely with parents, colleagues, and support staff to ensure the well-being and success of all students
  • Encourage positive behavior and manage the classroom effectively to ensure a focused and enjoyable learning experience
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - M1-M6 pay scale
  • Experience teaching in primary education, particularly with Year 2 students
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum (literacy, numeracy, and foundation subjects)
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a creative, engaging teaching style
  • The ability to assess and support the diverse needs of young learners
  • Passion for helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the school community
