Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a part-time Year 2 teacher in Huntingdon. This role requires Qualified Teacher Status and offers £140 - £224 per day based on experience. Qualifications

Job description

Part time Year 2 teacher (0.6) – Huntingdon – £140 - £224 per day (salary depends on experience and/or qualifications). Vision for Education is seeking a Year 2 teacher to work 3 days a week in a school based in Huntingdon. The role starts in January 2026 and runs until the end of the academic year.

About the role

Qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role. We welcome applications from both experienced and early career teachers (ECTs). If you are a passionate and enthusiastic teacher looking for a supportive and high‑achieving school, this role could be for you.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Year 2 teacher you will:

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • The ability to deliver inspiring and engaging lessons.
  • A passion for providing quality education.
  • Enthusiasm, dedication and resilience to demonstrate excellent classroom practice.
  • The ability to provide a positive learning environment and effectively manage a classroom.

Please do not apply for this role unless you meet the following criteria:

  • Hold QTS in the UK.
  • Have prior experience of teaching at key stage 2 level.
  • Able to provide 2 references to support recent teaching experience.
  • Able to provide full DBS clearance.
