About the Role: We are working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive 2-form entry primary school in Newham, seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join their supportive teaching team.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire a love of learning. You will work collaboratively with your year group partner and benefit from strong leadership, excellent planning support, and a nurturing school culture.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess inspiring lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 2 teacher to share planning and resources.
  • Track pupil progress and use data to inform teaching and interventions.
  • Establish strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - UK or overseas equivalent.
