Job description

Supply Heroes are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with a supportive and energetic primary school in Birmingham with a fantastic reputation. They are looking for a passionate Year 1 Teaching Assistant to work across the classroom with a pro‑active, enthusiastic and engaging approach. The ideal candidate will have KS1 experience and have a depth of knowledge with phonics, especially Little Wandle.

The role will be classroom based, however; you may run targeted interventions supporting students in a small group basis as well as 1 : 1 with specific subjects such as literacy and numeracy. You may lead sessions in writing and spelling and assist the teacher in planning / carrying out activities for the pupils and also help in preparation and organisation or the classroom resources.

This role is Part - Time, 2 days a week (Monday and Tuesday)

Start : ASAP

Duration : Full-Academic Year

The school are looking for:
  • Somebody with a passion of working with children
