Overview

An inclusive and friendly one-form entry primary school in Harrow is looking for a part-time Year 1 teacher to join their team three days per week from April 2025. This fixed-term role offers a great work-life balance while allowing you to make a significant impact in a welcoming and well-supported setting.

Responsibilities
  • Implement effective phonics instruction, supporting early reading and writing development.
  • Differentiate lessons to support learners of all abilities, including EAL and SEN children.
  • Create a positive and structured classroom environment where children feel safe and encouraged to explore.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENDCo, and subject leads to enhance learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide feedback to parents.
Qualifications
