Position

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a Key Stage 1 Teacher position? Flourish Education is recruiting a primary teacher to work in a Year 1 class, in a1 form entry Primary school based in Lichfield.

Overview

Our client is looking to recruit a Key Stage 1 Teacher to work on a full-time and long-term basis from January 2026 for the whole of the academic year until July 2026.

You will be expected but not limited to plan, assess, and mark students’ work in line with the school policy, deliver engaging and creative lessons, and work alongside the teaching assistant, but you will not be required to attend staff meetings.

ECT’s are encouraged to apply as well as experienced Teachers. Our client have capacity to support your ECT years also. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:15 am – 4:30 pm and your staff meeting will be on a Wednesday.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, assess, and mark student work in line with the school policy.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Work alongside the teaching assistant.
• Attend staff meetings on Wednesday.

Required Skills and Experience

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Confident in leading a classroom of children.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management.
• Ability to work effectively with the Teaching Assistant.
