Are you an experienced KS1 Teacher seeking a part time role for January 2026?

A 2 Form Entry Primary School located in Redbridge, London are seeking a part time Year 1 Teacher from January 2026. This will be job share role working 3 days per week. This will be on a long term contract for the duration of the academic year. A permanent contract will be on offer for the right candidate.

Year 1 Primary Teacher – Redbridge, London – Part time, 3 days per week (long term)

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons for a mixed ability Year 1 class.
• Collaborate with partner teachers to plan and deliver the timetable; allocated PPA time to stay in the loop with planning.
• Support a Year 1 class of 28 children who are well behaved and eager to learn.
• Provide consistent, high-quality teaching with a friendly and supportive Year 1 team and strong leadership.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and completion of NQT/ECT induction year is required.
