Are you an experienced KS1 Teacher seeking a part time role for January 2026?

A 2 Form Entry Primary School located in Redbridge, London are seeking a part time Year 1 Teacher from January 2026. This will be a job share role working 3 days per week. This will be on a long term contract for the duration of the academic year. A permanent contract will be on offer for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons for a mixed-ability Year 1 class, in collaboration with partner teachers.
• Contribute to shared planning and ensure PPA time is allocated to stay aligned with planning for the Year 1 class.
• Deliver lessons with a focus on high-quality teaching and positive student outcomes.

Qualifications

• QTS is required; ECTs are welcomed but the role would not count towards ECT induction.
