Travis Perkins Trading Company Limited is seeking a Yard Assistant to support our busy branch. You will process customer orders outside, load and unload vehicles, and help keep the yard safe and tidy in line with health and safety guidelines.

Experience with a forklift is ideal, but full training is provided. You’ll need good interpersonal skills to help customers on first-name terms and work well with colleagues in a fast-paced, outdoor setting.

• You will be based outside, processing our customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
• You will also unload our building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch warehouse.
• Experience of using a forklift is ideal, but don't worry full training is provided
• Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

This is a key customer facing role, so you will need to be enthusiastic and have great interpersonal skills.

Be confident in your physical ability to process heavy and bulky stock throughout the Yard, within our health and safety guidelines.
