Job summary

CPB Northwest Ltd is seeking a Yard Operative with a certified Reach Truck licence to manage yard logistics, stock movements and site safety. The role involves operating Reach Trucks in the yard, coordinating trailer movements and loading/unloading vehicles.

The ideal candidate has a valid Reach Truck licence, experience in a busy yard or warehouse, basic computer skills for stock recording, and good physical fitness for outdoor tasks. This is a full-time position based in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach Truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent)
• Experience in busy yard/logistics or warehouse environment
• Basic computer use for inventory/ Movements/recording

Responsibilities

• Operate a certified Reach Truck safely in yard/shops/warehouse areas
• Coordinate trailer movements, deliveries and collections in the yard
• Load/unload vehicles using material handling equipment
• Perform daily safety checks on trucks and maintain tidy yard
• Update in-house stock and trailer data
• Assist with manual handling and general warehouse duties when required
