We’re on the lookout for a Yard Operative / Relief HGV Driver to support our team at Warrington . This is a varied and active role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a practical team, and helping customers get exactly what they need to get the job done.

What you’ll be doing :

As a Yard Operative / Relief HGV Driver, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the yard. Here’s what the job involves :

  • Providing a friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in the yard
  • Safely receiving and organising deliveries - keeping the yard tidy and secure
  • Supporting with vehicle loading / unloading - helping the team get deliveries out on time
  • Making occasional local deliveries – when cover is needed (e.g. holidays or absences)
  • Being vigilant about stock security and safety procedures

What you’ll bring :

You don’t need to be an expert to get started – we’ll show you the ropes. We’ll give you the training and support to help you feel confident and ready to go . What really matters is that you’ve got a can‑do attitude and you’re happy to step in and help wherever it’s needed .

You’ll need a Class 2 licence for this role, along with a HIAB licence and Forklift licence.
