Job summary

Huws Gray Oban is seeking a Yard Operative to support the day-to-day running of the Oban yard. You will help customers, manage deliveries and assist with loading and unloading to keep everything moving.

Training and development are provided, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork. Flexible working options may be discussed at interview, with a supportive, inclusive workplace across our branch network.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer service in a practical, hands-on environment.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product locating and practical advice.
• Handle deliveries: check in goods and store them safely.
• Load/unload vehicles and support the branch team to keep operations moving.
• Keep the yard tidy, safe and secure for customers and colleagues.
