Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced reactive environment, ideally in an outdoor setting.
  • Forklift experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize own work.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out basic maintenance as per work instructions.
  • Ensure the workplace is clean and well-maintained.
  • Maintain documentation as per site specifics.
  • Adhere to QHSE standards.
  • Assist on-site commissions and de-commissions.

We’re looking for a Yard Operative based out of our Swindon depot.

What you’ll do:
  • Carry out basic maintenance as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards
  • Ensure that the workplace is well maintained and clean
  • Maintain documentation either paper or electronic as per site specifics
  • Adhere to QHSE standards
  • Working strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist on site commissions and de-commissions as labour, cable pulling, housekeeping etc.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced reactive environment- ideally within a outdoor working environment
  • Forklift experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own work
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Self-driven with strong communication and people skills
  • Worked in a heavy labour-intensive environment.
