Huws Gray Limited is hiring a Yard Operative at the Snettisham branch. You’ll help customers find what they need, handle deliveries, load and unload vehicles, and keep the yard safe, tidy and well-organised.

If you enjoy outdoor work, practical teamwork and delivering great service, this role offers training, a supportive team, and opportunities to develop within our growing group.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to join a practical team.
• Forklift licence is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle deliveries and check in goods, storing them safely and keeping organised.

We’re now looking for a Yard Operative to join the team at our Snettisham branch. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a practical team, and delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Yard Operative, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the yard. Here’s what the job involves:

• Helping customers find what they need – offering friendly, practical advice and sharing your knowledge of our products
• Handling deliveries – checking in goods, storing them safely and keeping everything organised
• Loading and unloading vehicles – working closely with the branch and driving teams to keep everything moving
• Looking after our yard – keeping it safe, tidy and secure for our customers and colleagues
