Job summary

Huws Gray Northwich is seeking a Yard Operative to help customers, manage deliveries and keep the yard safe and organised. You will work outdoors as part of a practical team and contribute to efficient yard operations.

Full-time role based at Northwich with on-site duties. Training will be provided, and a forklift licence is a bonus but not required. We welcome a flexible approach and support for development within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Forklift licence is a bonus.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a practical team.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find what they need and offer practical advice.
• Handle deliveries: check in goods, store safely, keep organised.
• Load and unload vehicles; coordinate with branch and driving teams.
• Look after the yard: keep it safe, tidy and secure.
