The Role

The Yard Foreman will be responsible for the day‑to‑day organisation of the yard, ensuring orders are picked accurately and vehicles are loaded and unloaded efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Picking and preparing individual customer orders
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Operating a forklift as part of daily yard operations
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised yard environment
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a valid forklift licence (essential)
• Holds a full UK driving licence (essential)
• Has experience working in a yard, warehouse, or construction materials environment
• Is organised, reliable, and proactive
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
