Qualifications

• Experience in outdoor working environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a team are essential.
• Must hold a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, test and manage cable inventory.
• Carry out basic maintenance as per work instructions.
• Ensure the workplace is well maintained and clean.
• Maintain documentation as per site specifics.
• Adhere to QHSE standards.
• Work in accordance with company policies.

Skills

Experience working in a fast-paced reactive environment

Forklift experience

What you’ll do:

• As a cable technician, you will be expected to maintain, repair, test and manage cable inventory
• Carry out basic maintenance as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards
• Ensure that the workplace is well maintained and clean
• Maintain documentation either paper or electronic as per site specifics
• Adhere to QHSE standards
• Working strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Experience working in a fast-paced reactive environment- ideally within an outdoor working environment
• Forklift experience is highly desirable
• Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
• Must hold a full, clean and valid driving licence
• Self-driven with strong communication and people skills
• Worked in a heavy labour-intensive environment.
