Overview

Yacht Broker/Sales professional – Port Solent office

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Professional for our client’s office based in Port Solent. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in high value product sales. Experience in yacht sales (new or brokerage) would be an advantage and/or a passion and experience with boats (motor or sail). Weekend work is required on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring a professional and exceptional level of service.
  • Represent the brand and products at the highest standard, promoting both new and pre-owned boats to clients.
  • Manage and grow a sales pipeline, from initial inquiries to closing deals.
  • Provide knowledgeable and informative advice on yacht sales, products, and services.
  • Support clients through the buying process, ensuring satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Attend international boat shows, representing the company and engaging with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maximize business opportunities and maintain a strong sales presence across the business.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in high-value sales environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both in person, over the phone, and in writing.
  • A demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients and offer exceptional service.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the ability to handle complex sales.
  • Experience working to sales targets and managing a sales pipeline.
  • An understanding of or a keen interest in the boating industry is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
  • Basic salary plus generous commission structure with no earning ceiling.
