Optical Precision, near Oldbury, is seeking a CNC XYZ Turner or Miller, Setter, Operator to join its precision engineering team. The role involves setting and operating XYZ ProtoTrak lathes or mills to produce high-precision components in large batch quantities.

The position offers £18.00–£20.00 per hour with overtime and company benefits. A state‑of‑the‑art CNC facility supports engineers with modern equipment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes or mills.
• Experience using XYZ controls.
• Experience with Proturn SLX555, SLX425, Pro 3000 and Pro 4000.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate XYZ ProtoTrak lathes or mills.
• Produce non-complex precision-engineered components in large batch work quantities.
