Job summary

Alfred H Knight invites applications for an XRF Laboratory Technician at our head office in Prescot, near Liverpool. You will join the XRF team to perform analytical testing, process daily workloads, and ensure samples are handled correctly with strict adherence to reporting deadlines.

You will maintain laboratory safety, cleanliness and traceable records in line with ISO 17025 requirements while collaborating with colleagues to deliver accurate results.

Job description

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an XRF Laboratory Technician to join our team at our head office in Prescot, Liverpool.

You will be responsible for carrying out analytical testing and laboratory procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Working as part of the XRF team, you will help organise and process daily workloads, ensuring samples are handled correctly and analytical work is completed to the required standards and within agreed reporting deadlines.

You will also ensure laboratory equipment and work areas are kept clean, safe and in good working conditions, while maintaining accurate and traceable records in line with ISO 17025 requirements.

Required Competencies

Required Work Experience

• Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum GCSE equivalent education.
