Job summary

A logistics recruitment agency is seeking 3 Air & Ocean Import / Export Operators to manage global supply chains for air and ocean shipments. • Danish parent company UK division has been operating for 50 years.
• Based in Trafford Park, Office of approx. 35 staff with a further 30+ in Aberdeen / Heathrow.
• Currently hiring X3 Air & Ocean Import / Export Operators
• Business has grown +50% revenue in 2024 alone

Role

• Operational controllers for freight forwarding control tower setup.
• Candidates will be working with a key client to manage global supply chain for air and ocean shipments end to end.
• Destination for all cargo is Middle East.
• Candidates MUST have experience working with this market and client type.

Experience

• 5+ years in a key account or similar role, doing hands on operational work for air and ocean end to end. Candidates must have an excellent functional knowledge of booking and handling air and ocean.
• They will be responsible for global supply chain and bookings including quoting, forecasting, documentation, billing etc.
• MUST have experience in both modes – Air & Ocean
• It is cross trade globally, uplift from USA, EMEA, ASIA and delivery to Middle East
• Reporting to Operations Manager - Local team 10 & Global around 15.

Package

• 40k+ Subject to experience.
• Hybrid available after probation, 2 days weekly on rota
