Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust seeks Band 5 radiographers for the Poole and Bournemouth hospital sites. The role involves general X-ray imaging, fluoroscopy, theatre imaging and dental radiography with a 24/7 on-call component.

New starters receive induction, preceptorship, and access to CPD sessions and external training. HCPC registration (or pending) is required for this post.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography (or equivalent) and HCPC registration (or pending).
• Active CPD and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Competent in general radiography techniques and radiographic reporting where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform general X-ray imaging, fluoroscopy, theatre imaging and dental radiography.
• Participate in 24/7 out-of-hours X-ray services.
• Engage in training to extend skills in plain image reporting, fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
