What the school offers its staff

Our Federation offers a cooperative team working in an inclusive environment where we aim to support our young people to be the best they can be. We are committed to growing our school community and as such are providing a wraparound care facility in order to appeal to working parents. We have fantastic facilities and grounds which can be used throughout before and after school clubs; however the candidate would like to use them. We want to grow the hours and the take up of places; however, presently the need is weak and we are managing to man provision amongst our present staff. This gives its own challenges, and to move forward we need a specific person to take on the role or to share the roles of support for wraparound care.

We can offer suitable training within the role and in the role of support within schools.

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment. Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance. Offers of employment may be subject to the following checks (where relevant): childcare disqualification, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) medical, online and social media prohibition from teaching, right to work satisfactory references, suitability to work with children.
