Job summary

Walton Peak Flying High Academy is seeking a caring Wrap Around Care Assistant to join our Breakfast Club team. You will deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities in a safe, nurturing wraparound setting, supporting each child’s physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Wrap Around Care Assistant to join our Breakfast Club team. You will deliver high‑quality and varied activities within a safe and nurturing wraparound care setting. You will play a key role in supporting child’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development while maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities in a safe and inclusive wraparound care setting.
• Supervise children during sessions, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Prepare and serve healthy breakfasts, considering dietary needs and food hygiene standards.
• Coordinate smooth transitions between classes and wraparound care.
• Maintain a welcoming, well‑resourced environment and communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents/carers.
• Support the overall ethos of the school through teamwork and flexibility.
