Job summary

Pulse Healthcare currently seeks a Band 6 Locum General Radiographer in Worthing to cover ongoing shifts. The role involves delivering diagnostic imaging in a hospital setting, working with radiology staff to ensure accurate results and patient safety.

This position is based on an ongoing contract with weekday hours from 09:00 to 17:00. The ideal candidate will hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, have NHS or private sector experience, and demonstrate strong X-ray and trauma

Qualifications

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
• Previous NHS or private sector experience as a General Radiographer.
• Proficiency in general X-ray and trauma imaging.
• Strong understanding of radiation protection guidelines and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, including X-rays and general imaging.
• Collaborate with radiologists and consultants to deliver high-quality images.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and ensure governance and policy compliance.
