Job summary

Christ Church Summerfield in North Edgbaston is seeking a Worship Lead to shape the next season of worship. The role provides hands-on musical leadership, volunteers development, and nurturing a healthy, multigenerational worship culture aligned with our mission.

The position is permanent, up to 14 hours per week (Sunday mornings) with flexible hours and a 3-month probationary period. Salary is £28,000-£34,000 pro rata.

We are looking for a Worship Lead to help shape the next season of worship at Christ Church. Our worship and production teams are in a season of rebuilding, creating an opportunity for someone to provide hands-on musical leadership, develop volunteers and nurture a healthy, prayerful and multigenerational worship culture.

This is an opportunity to shape a worship team, building a strong shared identity, equipping people to grow in faith, skill and confidence while developing worship that serves the wider vision and life of our church.

Hours: Up to 14 hours per week, including Sunday morning. Tuesday is the main office day, with remaining hours arranged flexibly.
Pay: £28,000-£34,000 pro rata
