Job summary

A busy automotive workshop is seeking a qualified Technician/MOT tester to join their team in Narberth. The role involves carrying out MOT tests on class 4 vehicles, servicing and repairing vehicles based on manufacturer guidelines, and performing road tests. Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Technology or equivalent, have an active Class 4 MOT licence, and a clean UK driving licence. This position offers a competitive salary based on experience with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, no weekends.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Active Class 4 MOT licence required.
• UK driving licence must have no more than 3 penalty points.

Job description

I'm looking for a Technician/MOT tester for a very busy workshop. You'll be working in a modern workshop with 4 other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on class 4 vehicles only.
• Conduct servicing and repairs in line with manufacturers' recommendations.
• Perform road testing of customer vehicles.
• Work collaboratively with the team and independently as needed.
• Maintain a high quality of work in a busy environment and meet team targets.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (minimum).
• Active Class 4 MOT licence.
• UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.

You'll ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Narberth.

The salary offered is very competitive and depends on experience. We will pay well for the right candidate.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.00, with no weekends.
