Responsibilities

• You1 be taught how to: use equipment like bandsaws, pallet stacker, inspection equipment, hand tools, all engineering workshop equipment.
• Read technical drawings and understand how to turn them into real components.
• Learn and follow workshop health and safety, safe working practices.
• Help in day-to-day workshop tasks and learn by doing.
• As you progress, assist with the CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Get an introduction to machine programming, progress onto software.
• Learn how to produce fixtures and components from start to finish.
