About the Mustafa Gallery
The Mustafa Gallery is a key expression of Greensville Trust’s global and multicultural ethos, a space where art, spirituality and scholarship come together to illuminate humanity’s shared pursuit of beauty and meaning. Dedicated to exploring the artistic and cultural heritage of the Islamic world, the Gallery showcases sacred relics, calligraphy, geometric design, manuscript traditions and crafted forms that speak to universal themes of creativity, devotion and interconnectedness.
To support this mission, the Gallery is organised into three curated zones:
- Islamic Heritage Zone – Displaying classical and contemporary expressions of Islamic art, including sacred relics, manuscripts, devotional objects, and masterworks of calligraphy, geometry and design.
- Rotating Exhibition Zone – Hosting temporary exhibitions that highlight global artistic traditions, intercultural collaborations and thematic explorations that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Local Context Zone – Celebrating the creativity and history of the surrounding community, this space provides a platform for regional artists, community‑led projects and stories that anchor the Gallery within its local cultural landscape.
Central to the Gallery’s identity is the preservation and presentation of treasures connected to the life and prophecy of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Through exhibitions, research, educational programmes and public dialogue, the Gallery offers visitors from all backgrounds a deeper engagement with Islam’s spiritual, artistic and cultural legacy.
