What does the role of Workshop Supervisor involve?
  • Accounting for and managing Technicians time when working on jobs.
  • Ensuring Job Card write up compliance with regards to OEM Warranty Procedures.
  • Managing and improving workshop Productivity and Efficiency by allocating the correct jobs to the correctly skilled technician
  • Identifying Technician Training Needs.
What do you need to succeed as a Workshop Supervisor?
  • Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry
  • An excellent understanding of systems and processes operated to within this environment
  • A strong knowledge of Health and Safety
  • Confident with dealing with people at all levels, be able to build an immediate rapport
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Comfortable in negotiating and influencing situations
  • Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time
