Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Service Engineer in the effective running of the depot workshop.
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections of machines at client premises and depot.
  • Repair machines at depot or on-site.
  • Complete planned maintenance activities.
  • Handover machines to customers and train them on safe operation.
  • Provide high standards of customer care.

Join Our Team as a Workshop Service Engineer

We are seeking a keen and experienced service engineer, fitter, technician, or mechanic to join our team at Nationwide Platforms.

This role is ideal for someone with experience as a powered access engineer, car mechanic, plant fitter, or similar, who is looking to do something a bit different.

As a Workshop Service Engineer, you will work within a busy depot to inspect, repair, and maintain our machines, ensuring they are ready for customer use. Our machines include booms and scissor lifts, and full training will be provided. If you have a great attitude, are willing to learn, and possess some mechanical or electrical engineering experience, this could be the perfect role for you.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Service Engineer in the effective running of the depot workshop.
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and depot, ensuring safety and conformance to specifications.
  • Repair machines at depot or on-site to meet manufacturer and company standards.
  • Complete planned maintenance activities and maintain fleet appearance.
  • Handover machines to customers and train them on safe operation.
  • Provide high standards of customer care and relay queries to depot staff.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and update system status.
About You
