Job Title: Workshop Service Engineer

Location: Bedfordshire

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 Basic, Overtime Available, Company Pension, 25 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays, Full Product & Manufacturer Training, Career Progression.

Job Description:

We have a brand-new opportunity available for a Workshop Service Engineer based in Bedfordshire, working for a leading manufacturer of powered access machinery. This is an organisation who have built a strong brand and reputation, on a global scale.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out repairs to the equipment within a workshop environment, where you’ll receive an abundance of product and manufacturer training, alongside career development and progression.

Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Carry out service, repair and maintenance on all powered access equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Carry out LOLER tests and inspections
  • Attend breakdowns occasionally when required
  • Carry out PDI inspections
Requirements of Role:
  • Hold an Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Qualification / Time-Served Engineers will also be considered
  • Previous experience working on Mobile Elevated Working Platforms / Powered Access machinery is desirable
  • Candidates from a Plant Machinery, Forklift Truck / Material Handling / Tail Lift background will also be considered
  • Holder of a CAP and IPAF License preferred however not essential
  • Must hold a UK driving license
