Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Workshop Operative to join our Service workshop team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling reworks and customer returns within the department. This role involves providing effective after-sales support service for the business, with the possibility of future training into other roles within the workshop.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Processing Reworks: Support sales for Europe and the UK by processing reworks within the department.
  2. Customer & Internal Returns: Handle customer and internal returns at the Bristol workshop and support returns at the Chepstow workshop.
  3. Service Administration: Assist with service administration functions when required.
  4. Supplier Credits: Process products to send back to suppliers for credits.
  5. Department Queries: Control and process queries from other departments via email/Teams.
  6. Ad-hoc Duties: Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by the Workshop Supervisor.
  7. Workshop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy area within the workshop warehouse area.

Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required:

  1. Basic Electrical Knowledge: Training will be provided.
  2. IT Systems: Proficiency in Maginus and MS Office.
  3. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team.
  4. Drive for Results: Motivated to achieve targets and deliver results.
