The Job

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Workshop Manager / Engineer to join a busy and well-established agricultural business in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern machinery in a supportive and dynamic environment, whereby you will be involved with driving farm machinery in the summer season and not be stuck doing paperwork!

  • Operating combine harvesters and other agricultural machinery safely and efficiently
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Assisting with harvesting operations and machinery logistics
  • Supporting the engineering team with repairs and preventative maintenance
The Candidate
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery repairs
  • A full UK driving licence (Class C/E preferable)
  • Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
The Package
  • Competitive salary, circa £40,000
  • Accommodation provided at a subsidised rate (only £250/month; with market value at £750-£1000)
