The Role

Our client, a specialist manufacturer of high-quality joinery and stone products, is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee their busy workshop. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you ll manage day‑to‑day operations, lead a skilled team, and ensure all products meet exacting quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in joinery and stone fabrication, with a strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and health & safety. You will plan schedules, manage materials and inventory, and drive continuous improvements to maximise efficiency and output.

About You
  • Proven experience managing production in joinery, woodworking, or stone fabrication workshops.
  • Strong knowledge of workshop machinery, hand tools, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain quality standards, health & safety procedures, and compliance protocols.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to motivate a team.
