Silcom Recruitment are excited to present a fantastic opportunity as a Workshop Manager for a long-standing client of ours at their family owned dealership.

As a Workshop Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's workshop. This role requires someone who can lead from the front, maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service but also have a strong mechanical background.

If you have current motor trade Workshop Manager experience or similar, or you are an aspiring Vehicle Technician or Senior Service Advisor looking for the next step in your career, then look no further.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Workshop Manager:
  • Overseeing day-to-day workshop activities and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Managing a team of 10+ technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Implementing and maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and providing training opportunities for staff development.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving business growth initiatives.
The Package:
  • Up to £40,000 Basic Salary + Bonus
  • OTE £50,000 - Extremely realistic and achievable.
  • 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am - 12:30pm 1 in 4 Saturday
