The successful candidate will take on the assembly and build of packaging machinery, with essential skills in electrical systems. Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
Hours: 07:30 - 16:00 Monday-Thursday, 07:30 - 14:00 Friday

We are a leading OEM manufacturer of high-performance packaging machinery, specialising in multihead weighers, product inspection systems, checkweighers and X-ray equipment. Our systems support major FMCG and food production companies across the UK and worldwide, delivering precision, reliability and operational efficiency.
We are seeking a hands-on Workshop Engineer with an electrical bias to join our assembly and machinery build team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 electrical qualification and experience working with industrial equipment, electromechanical assemblies or machine builds.
This is a workshop-based position with the future opportunity to develop into a Field Service Engineer role for the right individual.
Assembly and build of complete packaging machinery systems in a workshop environment
Installation, wiring and testing of electrical systems, including:
Sensors
Actuators
Servo drives
Inverters
Motors & gearboxes
Bearings, shafts, belts, cams, pulleys
Working with 24V systems and single-phase electrical equipment
Use of digital voltage meters and other test equipment to fault-find and verify performance
Mechanical fitting and integration tasks where required
Supporting workshop efficiency and build quality standards
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to engineering specifications
