AR808 - Workshop Engineer

Location: Oldham

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000

Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Workshop Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

We are looking for workshop engineers for a fast growing company in Oldham.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities

Hands on repair / servicing on a range of equipment including battery powered MHE and EV utility vehicles.

Thorough PDI and QC of new equipment.

Troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.

Service and repair of vast range of electric powered trucks and lifting equipment.

Provide timely and detailed service reports.

Follow all company’s procedures and protocols.

Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.

LOLER & thorough examinations of new and refurbished equipment.

Skills and Qualifications

Extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering, Auto Electrical Engineering including a wide range of equipment such as material handling / lifting products and electric trucks.

English literacy.

Level 3 mechanical qualification.

Advanced fault finding, diagnostics.
