Overview

Workshop Administrator

Location: Lydden, Kent
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, plus every fourth Saturday morning (08:00 to 13:00)

An established independent service and MOT centre, specialising in the servicing and maintenance of cars and commercial vehicles, is seeking a Workshop Claims Administrator to join their busy team in East Kent.

Responsibilities
  • Raising and processing warranty and maintenance claims.
  • Creating workshop job cards with accurate and concise details.
  • Raising and finalising workshop invoices to maximise profitability.
  • Drafting repair estimates and sending invoices to clients.
  • Liaising with accounts regarding client payments and account status.
  • Booking MOT tests for commercial vehicle clients.
  • Assisting technicians with technical information and supporting the Workshop Controller.
  • Occasional collection and delivery of customer vehicles.
About You / Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the motor industry within an administrative role.
  • Warranty, repair and maintenance claims experience.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Confident using IT systems with good attention to detail.
  • Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence required is essential.
