Job summary

Talent Locker in London is seeking an experienced Workplace Technical Designer to join a busy Design & Build team on commercial office fit-out projects. The role focuses on producing detailed technical drawings in Revit and ensuring designs are coordinated and construction-ready.

Work will be 4 days on site, 1 day remote in Central London, with an initial 3-month contract and potential extensions. The daily rate is £380-£400, Inside IR35, with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Advanced Revit skills essential.
• Experience in commercial workplace fit-out.
• Expertise in partitioning, joinery and construction detailing.
• Experience in Design & Build environment desirable.
• Good understanding of UK building regulations and coordination.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Technical Designer with strong Revit skills and a background in commercial workplace fit-out projects?

An opportunity is available for a Technical Designer to join a busy Design & Build team in Central London, working on commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects.

The role will focus on producing detailed technical drawing packages, ensuring designs are coordinated, compliant and ready for construction.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce detailed technical drawings using Revit, including GA plans, RCPs, elevations, joinery and partition details.
• Develop technical design packages from concept through to construction.
• Ensure designs meet UK building regulations and construction standards.
• Work closely with designers, project managers, contractors and suppliers.
• Resolve technical design queries and ensure buildability.

Key requirements:

• Advanced Revit skills are essential.
• Strong experience in commercial workplace / office fit-out.
• Excellent knowledge of partitioning, joinery and construction detailing.
• Previous experience within a Design & Build environment is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of UK building regulations and technical coordination.

This would be 4 days on site / 1 day remote, in Central London. Initial contract 3 months with extensions thereafter.
