Roku is the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and we've set our sights on powering every television in the world. Roku pioneered streaming to the TV. Our mission is to be the TV streaming platform that connects the entire TV ecosystem. About the role

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Workplace Services Coordinator to help make our Cardiff office a welcoming, safe and well-run place to work.

You’ll be a key point of contact for day-to-day workplace needs, helping colleagues and visitors feel supported while keeping the office running smoothly. You’re comfortable juggling priorities, responding to the unexpected and getting hands-on to solve problems. You bring a positive, practical approach and understand that the team’s success depends on everyone pitching in.

This is a four-day-a-week role, Monday to Thursday based in our Cardiff office. This role is an initial 12 month FTC.
What you’ll do
  • Help deliver an exceptional day-to-day workplace experience, including maintaining office presentation and coordinating snacks and supplies.
  • Act as a point of contact for workplace requests, raising, tracking and resolving issues through our online ticketing system and keeping colleagues updated.
  • Liaise with the building manager to report and follow up on building-related issues.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and services.
  • Assist with deliveries to and from the office.
  • Welcome colleagues and visitors, helping create a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Support the response to workplace incidents, from equipment failures to health and safety issues and evacuations.
  • Carry out facilities checks to help ensure the office meets relevant local and national requirements.
  • Take on other duties as needed by the Workplace Experience Manager, including supporting projects across EMEA offices, service-desk reporting and workplace information pages.
What you'll bring
  • At least three years’ experience in a similar workplace, facilities or office-coordination role.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, assess situations quickly and decide on the right next steps.
  • A collaborative, supportive approach and a genuine interest in helping colleagues succeed.
  • Self-motivation, persistence, reliability and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and tailor information to your audience.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with people across an organisation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint; experience with Confluence and Jira is a plus.
  • The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and maintain close attention to detail.
  • Good judgement and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.

What should I know about Roku's culture?

Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. We believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We're independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.

We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer.

That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
