Job summary

Thorn Baker Group in Winchester is seeking a reliable working Site Manager with a joinery background to carry out on-site duties and some managerial tasks. You will oversee 1st and 2nd fix joinery, fitting doors and frames and coordinating with other trades.

Must have CSCS and SMSTS cards, own tools and full PPE, and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Working hours are 7:00am-5:00pm on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 1st and 2nd fix joinery on site.

• General carpentry and joinery tasks.
• Provide on-site supervision and coordination with other trades as required.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Read and work from drawings and site instructions.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.

The Role

We are looking for reliable and experienced Joiner to carry out general joinery duties on site, the candidate will also be required to undertakemanagerial duties. They will work alongside other trades and complete joinery tasks to a high standard.

Duties may include:

• Some managerial duties, when required
• 1st and 2nd fix joinery
• Fitting doors, frames, skirting and architraves
• General carpentry and joinery
• Measuring, cutting and fitting materials
• Working from drawings and site instructions
• Keeping work areas clean and safe
• Working alongside other trades
• Following site health and safety procedures

• Previous joinery experience
• Valid CSCS andSMSTS card
