The Role

Hands‑on Working Carpentry Foreman to join a growing team. You'll play a key role in leading site operations, managing trades, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

You'll be responsible for delievring quality projects, bringing your carpentry expertise and leadership skills to ensure smooth delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site teams, ensuring quality and productivity.
• Carry out first and second fix carpentry work as required.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site activities, coordinating trades and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to specification.
• Maintain a strong health & safety culture on site.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and the wider team.
• Contribute to building a positive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Senior Carpenter in fit out or interiors.
• Strong technical carpentry skills with a hands‑on approach.
• Experience across education, industrial, or commercial office projects preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to read and work from drawings.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
