Purpose of the Role

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Workday Product Leader to join our dedicated global platform team. Reporting to senior technology leadership and partnering closely with business stakeholders, you will lead a solutioning team of around eight specialists and play a pivotal role in driving global adoption, stakeholder engagement and effective product management across a complex, large-scale Workday environment.

Working closely with the global platform owner, you will help define the Workday vision and oversee the design, maintenance and delivery of platform solutions that meet diverse organisational needs. Your role will involve deep collaboration with senior stakeholders at local, regional and global levels, ensuring rigorous governance, system compliance and strong alignment between technical capabilities and strategic business objectives.

You will guide a skilled team across product design and architecture, leading the scoping, prioritisation and execution of projects and enhancements across the entire Workday portfolio. You will bring exceptional leadership skills, deep Workday expertise and compelling storytelling abilities - someone who thrives in collaborative settings, unites cross-functional teams behind a shared vision, and consistently delivers high-quality, user-centred solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Product and Solutioning team, overseeing solution and integration architecture, platform delivery and business analysis.
  • Act as the global ambassador and lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Workday platform, partnering with global stakeholders to drive platform adoption.
  • Drive the analysis and prioritisation of business requirements globally, leading the creation of robust solutions aligned to strategic business goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance across the extended Workday platform team, overseeing all aspects of solution and integration architecture, strategic project delivery, business analysis and supporting the ongoing success of the Workday platform adoption.
  • Works with engineering teams, articulating the goals, outcomes and requirements in sufficient detail that the development teams can deliver
  • Ensure meticulous standards in solution design, platform governance, and process compliance.
  • Proactively challenge and influence demand prioritisation, presenting alternative solutions and paths, as required.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of Workday platform enhancements, releases, and roadmap, proactively advising global stakeholders on their impact.
  • Forge strong, collaborative partnerships with senior business leaders and the HR CoE to continuously refine and enhance the Workday roadmap.

  • Deep expertise in solution design with a strong focus on the Workday platform and its ecosystem.
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday functionality and modules, driving effective platform solutions.
  • Skilled leader with a proven ability to manage and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with extensive client-facing experience throughout the solutions consulting process.
  • Adept at building productive cross-functional relationships across global teams, including HR, Finance, Technology and other business functions.
  • Experienced in leading solution teams to gather requirements, design, configure and test complex platforms.
  • Certified in Agile methodologies (e.g., Product Owner, Scrum Master) and Workday functional areas, ensuring best practices.
  • Proficient in integrations, including APIs and enhancing tools, methodologies and knowledge sharing to elevate platform maturity and adoption.
