Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Workday Integrations Consultant to design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations connecting Workday with internal and external systems. You will work closely with functional consultants, client stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable and secure integration solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Workday Integrations implementation experience.
• Active Workday Integrations Certification preferred.
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services, REST and SOAP APIs, Document Transformation.
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying integration solutions within ERP or SaaS environments.
• Experience gathering technical requirements and translating them into practical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of integration architecture, data mapping, XML, XSLT, JSON, and web service technologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Eligible for UK residency and able to work in the UK; willing to travel on-site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Become a Workday Integrations subject matter expert across design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Lead client workshops and technical discussions to gather integration requirements and define solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Document Transformation, and Web Services.
• Collaborate with functional, reporting, security, and data teams to deliver integrated Workday solutions.
• Support data conversion, inbound and outbound integrations, and third-party system connectivity.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis; recommend effective solutions.
• Support testing activities including unit, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
• Track project issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Support deployment, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
• Mentor consultants and analysts; share knowledge where appropriate.
• Participate in Workday training and internal initiatives to expand technical expertise.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.

Job description

The Workday Integrations Consultant is responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying Workday integration solutions that connect Workday with internal and external systems. Working closely with functional consultants, client stakeholders, and technical teams, this individual will help deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality integration solutions throughout the implementation lifecycle.

The Consultant will leverage their technical expertise to design and develop integrations, troubleshoot issues, and support clients through all phases of a Workday deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Become a Workday Integrations subject matter expert with knowledge of integration design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Lead client workshops and technical discussions to gather integration requirements and define integration solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Document Transformation, and Web Services.
• Collaborate with functional, reporting, security, and data teams to deliver integrated Workday solutions.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Workday Integrations implementation experience.
• Active Workday Integrations Certification preferred.
• Experience working with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Document Transformation.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying integration solutions within ERP or SaaS environments.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Eligible for SC Clearance - you must have been a UK resident for the last five years and be legally entitled to work in the UK.
• Minimal travel required, but must be willing to travel on-site as needed.
